Jonah Wiendieck
Jonah Wiendieck is the first athlete on the Azan Strength team and is already one of the strongest powerlifters in his weight class. In the -120 kg class, he achieved an impressive total of 925.5 kg with 342.5 kg in the squat, 253.5 kg in the bench press, and 335 kg in the deadlift. At the 2023 IPF Junior World Championships, he secured the silver medal and set two junior world records – one in the bench press with 250.5 kg and one in the total with 925.5 kg. He had previously broken a world record with 245.5 kg in the bench press. Jonah embodies pure strength, discipline, and ambition, making him a perfect powerlifter for Azan Strength.

Christoph Steffek
We are delighted to welcome Christoph Steffek as a new member of the Azan Strength Team! In the 120 kg+ weight class, Christoph is one of the strongest athletes in the country. At the NRW State Championships, he delivered impressive performances with 350 kg in the squat, 187.5 kg in the bench press, and 300 kg in the deadlift; an incredibly strong total of 837.5 kg. He regularly ranks among the top athletes at national competitions and has consistently improved over the past few years – from a total of 740 kg in 2023 to his current personal best. Christoph is not only an outstanding competitor but also a dedicated supporter of the powerlifting community. He lives and loves this sport and actively contributes to its continued advancement. Luca Bieber
Luca Bieber competes in the -120 kg weight class and brings a strong total of 602.5 kg to the platform (his next competition will be brutal). He was one of our first contacts in powerlifting and has been a fixture in the sport for many years. Someone who is known and respected. His consistent progress is particularly noteworthy: in the gym, he bench-pressed 160 kg as if it were a warm-up. In addition to his own athletic achievements, he is active in the KSV Frankfurt club, where he is committed to the sport of powerlifting and the community. Luca embodies experience and genuine passion for powerlifting, making him a perfect fit for the Azan Strength Team.

Deborah-Sue Schöpe
We are thrilled to have Deborah-Sue Schöpe, better known as "Babyhulk," on the Azan Strength Team! It's practically impossible to see Debby in any mood other than a good one. Her positive energy and mental strength are just as impressive as her performances on the competition stage. In the under-52 kg weight class, Deborah is one of the strongest female athletes in Germany. With a 130 kg squat, 89 kg bench press, and 155 kg deadlift, she brings a formidable total of 373.5 kg to the platform. She regularly sets new standards, especially in the bench press. Deborah is a consistent top contender at state and national championships and has steadily improved over the past few years. This development has established her as a force to be reckoned with nationally.
